feather boa

these are part of a fat bird series that i started up for an art show.
alas i was over ambitious and didn't finish as many as i wanted to.

this was an idea that my girlfriend suggested, a smug bird with a feather boa.
her feather boa isn't murder though, it's fake.

the process and media involved are complicated:
graphite on cavnvas, rapidiograph on vellum, digitial color.
